I'm heading up a project (with IKEA's sponsorship) that will allow me to
design and furnish a deserving charity's office spaces. I'd like to help the
new headquarters of the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition! I can't make this happen
without your votes. You can help ABC win by going to this link:

The Atlanta Bicycle Coalition is working to create a healthier, more sustainable Atlanta by making safer and easier to bike in the city through advocacy and education for all. $10,000 would make their new headquarters a welcoming hub for the community to come together to aid in advancing bike policy, promote the fun and fitness benefits of bicycling, and plan unique events to increase community awareness of the advantages of riding a bicycle in Atlanta

There are two projects on the ballot: the Gateway center and ABC. When asked
about the Gateway center's cause, ABC replied "We totally support the Gateway
Center and their mission. IKEA chose two wonderful charities working to make
Atlanta a better city for everyone. We see every day that bicycles empower
everyone, including those who are homeless, many of whom rely on bicycling as
their means of transportation. We often help the homeless by providing bike
tools and a pump, free lights and helmets, and safety trainings. This is part of
our core mission of increasing access to better and safer biking for everyone.
We know and recognize this is a difficult choice but see this as a celebration
of the number of agencies doing good work in the city, both deserving of your
support. Ultimately, of course, we would love your support!"
