I just installed the Shimano Flight Deck computer (SC-6501) and so far have been very happy with it. My one complaint is that I seem to have to press one of the buttons (A or B) on the back of the unit to start it? The instructions says it has "Autostart" and I have seen other people refer to it, but I can't seem to make it work. My definition of autostart is that the computer automatically wakes up from it's "power save" mode and begins to record velocity, etc just like my CatEye used to. The unit stays in power save mode (clock only) until I press one of the buttons on back. Anyone know how to enable the "autostart" feature?

Autostart means...

The Flightdeck autostart function is not a "wake up" feature as with your old cateye - you are correct - you always need to hit one of the buttons on the back to wake it up. The autostart function just means that when stationary - such as at the lights - the computer stops recording time, so your average speed and ride time is maintained.
