Barmac Question?
Hi, just ordered an SL2 frame, and needed new bars to go with it, as its alight frame thought an integrated bar + stem would be good Shop recommended the Barmac.
Just looked on the specialized site and noticed that it does not clamp to the steerer the same way as a conventional stem (i.e. 2 bolt clamp), but has a single bolt that should be torqued up in front of the steerer bolt (sorry do not know the terminology). My question is is this clamping method ok with the carbon steerer on the SL2 fork? I'm sure it must be as its all S works stuff, and the shop are fitting it.
Also those of you that run the Barmac on an S works, what angle do you run the bar at?
