I need a longer drop front brake cable stop/hanger.

I have never had one with a barrel adjuster. Is is worth it or go without?
What say you.

I would say it is worth having some sort of barrel adjuster, be it on cable hanger, as part of the straddle wire, or, as I have, a cable interupter type one just as the brake cable comes out of the tape.
They're not essential, but do make life a little easier, say for instance you have a couple of pairs of wheels of slightly different widths, you can take up any gap or reduce any tightness 'on the fly', as it were.

the IRD cable hangers are nice and long but don't have a threaded adjuster. search for IRD cable hanger and you should find them.

If only they made one in 1"dia.
