Completely different bikes. Do you want to be able to change gears?

I'm a fan of buying quality used; more bang for your buck. Check out your local Craigslist.

Apples and oranges. One is a 21-speed hybrid, the other is a fixie (single speed).

Are you a very strong rider? Will you be riding only flat roads? If no to either, that pretty much rules out the fixie.

Keep in mind if you buy online, you are guessing your correct size. For any real enjoyment of the bike, you will still need a proper fitting which will cost you around $100-200 at a good bike shop. If you buy at a good bike shop, they will provide this service free of charge.
