how the heck do you do it? I got the King headset installed on the Ti frame using a headset press but what do I do for the bearing cap? I greased the inside to try to slide the rubber seal over the edge of the carbon tube but can't get it to go. Help? Thanks. This is fun stuff!!!

If you cut the fork already, maybe you've got a burr. If not, you could try to chamfer the edge just a little.

PS Don't cut the fork before you get the cap and the stem and the spacers on....(or you'll be sorry)

+1 chamfer the edge a smidge.

If you try brute force with a mallet, you will tear the o-ring on the sharp edge of the steerer.
