Bellatisport - anybody use them

I am looking at framesets online, and have seen the one I want listed at Bellatisport, a Swiss company, for $1,000 less than anywhere I can find it in the US. Has anybody in the US bought anything from Bellatisport, and if so, what did you buy and how did the transaction go.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have had an excellent experience wth Bellatisport.
I live in San Diego, California.
On November 28th 2006 I asked if the Mavic Crossmax SLR disk wheelset with centerlock hubs was in stock.
On the same day, as soon as they opened, I received an email saying yes.
I placed the order on the 29th. Visa gave me the run around, convinced that this was fraudulent activity. (new Visa account) While this was being sorted out I was in touch with Andrea Bellati via email several times in the course of an hour. I sent payment with Amex very easily in the end and throughout the process I felt confident that he understood my intentions and I wasn't buying another wheelset everytime I clicked checkout for my "Cart".
Wheels shipped on the 30th, confirmed by their email.
Wheels delivered by USPS December 4th.
Insured express shipping was about $75
Perfect condition with bags, skewers, UST valves and magnet.
These wheels are not available for purchase here yet. I was told about a month from now. Bellatisport price was $270 less than US retailers are required to advertise and about $110 less than the estimated discount street price when they become available.
Shop with confidence.

I bought this Colnago Tecnos frame from Belatisport about a year or so back. I found them honest and their service was good, a few communication issues you to time difference and language, but nothing that ever caused a problem.

I saved a bomb on what was a rare item, albeit with limited appeal, but far cheaper than other Tecnos' and Master X Lite's I found. They flicked in a fork upgrade and sold me the Record headset and Chorus post very cheaply too.

Goods arrived in NZ in great shape. I would use them again.

That bike's pretty. I want to build something similar.
Bellati Sports is Excellent

I experienced an absolutely seamless transaction with Bellati Sports. Bellati Sports is an outstanding, legitimate business. All of my questions were answered promptly, and delivery was rapid and without problems.

Very pleased with Bellati Sports!

:D I know, it does kind of look like the thumbs up is saying "up yours" doesn't it. :D

Ah well, nothing like a little emoticon 'tude to make one's Christmas brighter.

As far as Bellati Sports goes:

- Easy ordering.
- Great inventory.
- Easy and safe payment.
- Good and prompt communication.
- Reliable and prompt shipping.

It was the most expensive purchase I have ever made online and it was international too. I agonized and was worried, but everything worked out perfectly, and now I have a hot new bike. Thank you, Santa!

Stand up guy, excellent service. I bought a colnago from him several years ago. I developed a structural crack on the frame. He is working with me to help resolve the issue. I will keep you posted.

The potential problem is Colnago's warranty. I bought a Colnago for there build quality, however everything can break.
This is an old thread that has been revived. But I'll throw in my $0.02.

I bought a Kuota frame from them a few years ago. There was a shipping problem (not the store's fault) but they went above and beyond and made things right and then some.

I'd buy from them again if the price is right.
Having dealt with a plethora of online bicycle distributors, I can honestly say that BellatiSport offers the best combination of high-end products, customer service and price out there. First, I bought a set of Lightweight wheels from him. Then a Look 695 and another Lightweight rear wheel because he took such good care of me. He has even gone so far as to overnight parts to other countries while I am at a race if I am in a pinch! That is what you get when the owner of the company is a former racer himself. At this point, I will not purchase anywhere else. You won't be disappointed.
Belatti Sport

In case anyone ends up in this old thread after googling Belatti Sport and wondering what is going on with that vendor. The below is some info obtained directly from Pinarello in November 2020. What a bizarre situation. Pinarello says they don't know if the products for sale are "used bikes or fakes," thus not even considering the option that they might be legitimate new bikes. Yet Belatti has been selling for decades without Pinarello stopping them. So strange.

"You can find all of our authorized Pinarello Point using our dealer locator https://pinarello.com/it/store-locator.
The Store Bellati is not one of our authorized Pinarello dealer, so it’s hard for us understand if he sells used bikes or fakes.

We remain a tour disposal

and in a separate message:

"Yes, it’s not an authorized Pinarello dealer and for this, he can’t manage warranty claim.

We remain at your disposal
