Hi,
After an accidental mishap in the living room:mad2: , my derailleur hanger got bent on my 3 month old Look 585. I took it to the LBS and they straightened for me and re adjusted all the cables, buttold me that i now need to replace my rear derailleur hanger and that my original one has now weakened and is only good for a 'short period of time'.
Does it really need to be replaced?? It wasn't a high velocity accident, it literally just fell over from an upright position.
Does a rear derailleur go through much stress?
