looking to change out the cables on my ss is there a big difference between xtr and nokon.except for the price

if you lean towards Nokon, look into iLink, they are lighter, easier to use, less creaky and (a bit) less expensive for the same compressionless housing. I run them with the inner housing full length so gunk from cross doesn't get on the cables.

sram pit stop brake cables are the smoothest 'normal' cables i've used, and while i hate gore shift cable/housing, the brake kit works quite well. if you're wanting to run nokon or similar segmented housing, i'd still use the sram cables...

I saw that the other day. I'm having visions of doing a Lance and landing on the TT on that puppy:eek:
