Excuse the ignorance, but why would you shave your legs?

Traditonally, cyclists have shaved there legs for various reasons. Some say it reduces drag, some say it helps road rash heal much faster, others do it because it looks good, and they want to show off there sculpted legs. Check out the Funks Bible. It will enlighten you!

Short answer...when you fall, you tend to slide. And when you slide, little bits of gravel embed themselves in the cuts. They have to be picked out with tweezers, and doing that with hair on your legs is a real drag. Plus it feels good, looks good and teh wimmenz like it. Even if they say they don't.

Long answer/how to:

The Norelco Body Groom (http://www.amazon.com/Philips-Norelco-BG2020-31-Bodygroom/dp/B000EG8HLE/ref=pd_sim_hpc_title_4) works pretty good. It can be used wet or dry, so you can take it in the shower. It's faster and easier, the only downside is that it doesn't get as close as a regular razor, so you have to use it more often, and it never leaves you feeling silky smooth - more like 1 days stuble from a regular razor.
Good for the long stuff, then a razor for the smooth.
