Hello,

I'm new here and am still new to cycling.

My first bike since starting is a Trek fx hybrid which is very comfortable and dependable.

The reason for my thread is that I have an old Bianchi that is clearly repainted but still has for what I can tell, its original components.

The shifters/deraileurs are suntour. It is a 12 speed.

Any help would be great.

Likely a made in Japan Bianchi. Not that there's anything wrong with that (apologies to Jerry Seinfeld). What model Suntour? What model brakes? Can you tell what the original color was? Remember, better TMI than TLI!

The suntour components are dx/ox? 5000

and the brakes are diacompe dx/ox 5000

It seems that the new original color was sand blasted off because the new color is a powder coat.
