Six years in London, four in Shanghai and four in Singapore, heading back to the States and retiring 1st August. This is the fifth international move and it's still a PITA.
Air shipment, sea shipment and stuff to drag onto the airplane including my trusty C40. This Trek Madone box is pretty good with a built-in strap going around the down tube, foam on one side of the box and foam blocks to rest the BB on and for the rear derailleur. Both wheels and saddle off, handlebars removed and turned upright with all cables still attached.
Also put in my Silca floor pump and helmet. After all these years in the flat lands, I will finally reacquaint myself with the inner ring back in Connecticut.
