Hi all, I'm new to this and the riding itself, so bear with me. I'm planning to restore my road bike and have been trying to gain any more info, other than what I was told when I bought her. Apparently she was built in the USA in 1974. The front badge is by Winchester, the tube flaring is swirly and instead of a heart cut-out like a Da Rosa she's got a risen heart shape on the diagonal ? Very very light as well. If anyone has some ideas or routes to go down I'd really appreciate that. Many thanks steveo.

drive-side pics and specific questions would help.

personally, i'm not a fan of restorations, preferring period-correct refurbishments instead. both projects include a full overhaul of components, but refurbished bikes often include upgraded componentry with the goal the bike performs better than it did when new. restorations often include new paint which removes a great deal of the character gained over the decades.
