Without going into too much sidebar about his jr. high school fixie skids, unsafe riding practices, or terrible bike lock techniques, what do you all think about these urban guerrilla tactics? I kind of like how ballsy it is...

So what's he going to do when he gets there and 3 other people already have their bikes locked up to his rack and no where left for him?

Seems like it would have been easier to find some way to hoist the bike up somewhere in his studio or within the stairwell. This is performance art and the simple solution to the problem is a long heavy duty chain if he wants to keep it parked outside.

Problem #1: that rack was way too new looking. He should have scuffed it up and put stickers on it to make it blend into the city more.

Problem #2: he posted the video online. It probably would have taken a lot longer to detect if he didn't. Cool video though.

Yeah, that was kind of cocky. You have to wonder if he'd gone through the proper channels if he'd have just been able to get it approved. Then again maybe he only released the video after he'd been busted? Who knows.
