This should probably be #1.
This should probably be #1.15) This is your last bike, you certainly won't be buying another one.
Myths Debunked: Tread Patterns Matter, even on the Road – Rene Herse Cycles1) Road Bike tires need to have treads.
1a) Tread direction matters (see #1)
1b) Treads increase grip (see #1)
Fixed that for ya.Ceramic bearings are worth it.
Skinny tires are better.
RedOrange bikes are faster ... oops, no, that one is true.
Always glad to spread the Truth. Thanks for taking care of my "light work" velodawg.
You're just being spiteful and mean!Any color aside from orange is the preferable color for a bicycle.
Previously I thought that #15 should have been 1st, but now I realize that this should should be The One True #1.16) Always observe your thighs vis-à-vis your bike's top tube when riding, to make sure you are not hitting said top tube with the aforementioned thighs.
And this ain't no myth.Could you really not look this up yourself? Here's the formula: Vp = 10.2 sqrt(P) Vp is hydroplaning speed in mph, and P is pressure in psi. So for a bike tire at 100 psi, hydroplaning starts at 102 mph. At 49 psi, hydroplaning starts at 71.4 mph. Amazing what you can learn when you actually choose to.
But ghosts are a myth. But then that will shorten the thread and cause less traffic on the forum. I thought there was a concern about the ghost-town-ness of this forum... 👻
