OK maybe softcore stuff. I know she isn't much but I am so please with the results I figured I'd share. Just finished the paint on my 88 Schwinn LeTour that will eventually be a single speed. Yay me!

Nice! Curious what you did too, I have an old one that could use the same treatment. Or maybe I'll give it to the guy I know who paints hot rods. :ihih:

I would say an epoxy primer with a good single stage urethane. or, if he got fancy, BC-CC.

I'm interested in the process. What did you use to strip/prep and what kinda paint did you use. Nice job.
Sandblasted all the old paint off, sand it smooth, Rustoleum automotive primer, wet sand, applied Rustoleum White Enamel, wet sanded, taped off lugs and panels, applied Rustoleum Red Enamel, wet sanded, and then Rustoleum Clear Coat. The sandblasting is so easy but if you don't have one, aircraft paint stipper works as well.

Would Lance ride it?

Nice... I like the 'darker' pictures better fwiw. The frame seems to be maroon.

No it is standard Rustoleum Rattle Can Red. It is a pretty deep rich red though.
