So i've picked up a set of deep dish carbon wheels and have a quick question on using a bike rack. I've got a Saris Thelma, that holds the bike with two straps on the rims. Are there any issues with strapping down my carbon clinchers to this rack?

Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I would lean towards saying that the rims should be fine. However, what you should do to ensure that the straps dont rub is put a soft rag in between every spot where the strap contacts rim. When your road trippin', there is a lot of time (and wind) to make those straps flap back and forth and possible rub a spot in the cosmetic layers.
