I'm going to u of edinburgh, scotland, to study abroad next semester.
b/c of gorgeous scenery of scotland and the size of the campus, i'm considering to bike while i'm studying abroad for a semester.
Do you think I should bring my bike? or just get a bike when i get there?

i heard that it will cost around $300 for an one-way trip to bring a bike on a plane. so, i think i'm heading toward buying a bike, but i'm not sure if I want to get a bike and sell it back, which seem to be a hassle. also, if i happen to get a bike, i have slight consideration of bring it back to us and biking around the campus in us.

does anyone have a suggestion?

Get a Surly Travelers' Check and a soft bag from S&S. Yoy can check the bike as regular luggage.
not enough use of the enter key on that page :D , can you make it a bit easier, whats the advantages of this bike and what makes it so good for traveling with?

i think it depends on the airline, but the highest price was about $300. but in general, it's between $150~$300 each way.
