Take the crank off and grab the spindle ends. If you can wiggle the spindle, that's bad. Now turn the spindle with your fingers. If it feels like someone put rocks in your bearings, that's bad. If it doesn't wiggle and it spins smooth, that's good. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.pjkad said:I run with an Ultegra setup and have been on current bottom bracket for about 7,000 miles.
