Boulder Heights, Linden, and Pinebrook Hills under mandatory evac. Hope it doesn't come over the ridge. Good luck.

I heard 2200 acres a couple hours ago.

C'mon water bombers! Go away wind.

Beej

organize your stuff NOW
grab all the things that are important (pix, computers, etc...)
have them in a READY TO GO box by the door
really, pick the stuff that cannot be replaced and have it ready
I come from the land of fire and know how fast these things escalate

best of luck and all my positive thoughts

ps have the bike rack READY

Been following it on line for the last few hours and really, really thinking of you all! I saw that it is in the Gold Hill area (and spreading fast) and I have a real tender spot for the Gold Hill Inn!

But beyond that, lots of wonderful people, nice homes, and beautiful forest at risk.

I've been listening to the fire scanner all day. I'll be ready if needed, but wind has died down so hopefully the fire dpt can get some of it under control soon.

Tried to send a pm, but it's not working. Let us know if you need somewhere to go. Save the cruisers :p

Just took the cruiser out to Wonderland Lake area. No evidence of flames anywhere near here. Think it must have been an overreaction to the fire in Pinebrook Hills area. Looks like its moving north to me.

Just returned from a cruise to the end of the block. It's painfully eerie seeing the hills glowing in the dark.

I'm a few miles away, and those few miles are about a sea of comfort right now.

I know y'all have no shortage of friends in the area, but you can count on another down here in Southy. Best of luck, man.

You see this map that someone (a non-official someone) threw together and has been updating?

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=U...92,-105.302582&spn=0.113204,0.220757&t=h&z=12

Not sure how accurate it is as it is unofficial, but it does put a visual on things.

Beej, how is it this morning.

The smoke was thick in Broomfield. I couldn't even see them mountains this morning. It's not as bad down in South Denver.
