I joined a local bike club and been on 3 group rides. I noticed that many of the veterans have what appears to be bowl legs. So I wondered if this is common to people who put on a great deal of miles on bikes or a coincednce. Their legs do not go straight up and down as they go out and up when they pedal. If something common to biking I wonder if it is due to poor technique, poor bike fit or simply what will happen to me if I put enough miles on my Bike.

WTF is 'Bowl' legged rider?
Im assuming he is talking about the fact that many riders legs do not just move up and down like a piston would but move in more a half circle. From what ive seen this is usually caused by the seat being too low. If this is the case it is probally also limiting their power output.
