Seems to be a multi-prong revealing of some bad old white man stuff.

Sexism, inequality, stealing, all kinds of craziness.

Shane Sutton has resigned after being suspended, probably hoping he can just run away from all of the allegations and have his job loss be the only penalty to him.

UK Sport, the funding body of British Cycling, now seems to have caught them selling team kit on ebay for many thousands of dollars. Not old worn out whatever, brand new in package kit charged to UK Sport and then sold on ebay.

Started with some ladies coming forward to speak against the discrimination:
Pendleton and Cooke claim British Cycling is rife with sexism | Cyclingnews.com

Varnish: I no longer trust British Cycling | Cyclingnews.com

British Cycling announces independent review following sexism allegations | Cyclingnews.com

Pooley on British Cycling: Brailsford should face questions | Cyclingnews.com

Then Sutton was put on notice:
British Cycling suspends Shane Sutton | Cyclingnews.com

And he quickly resigned:

Then as UK Sport was looking around into things they discovered that British Cycling was stealing from them most likely by charging them for team kit and selling it on ebay:
British Cycling asked to investigate claims their equipment was sold on auction websites | Cyclingnews.com

British Cycling ordered to investigate online sales of GB kit | road.cc

More stuff:

There's also several reports of them having a long standing discrimination against the paracyclists. They would call them "wobblies" and other names and not give them the track time or respect they deserved.

Seems to me like the old white losers running the USA and probably many governments and large organizations.

And some like the idiot Kennaugh are publicly speaking against the women:

Saying things like nobody cares about the women and get over it.

Was that Sutton or some other genius on ebay?
Not directly being sold through an account of theirs, but by some other weird accounts. Like some inflatable penis seller selling team issue kits...

jonvelo | eBay

It's still going on right now, it's live. They're still at it.

Also they seem to be finding bikes that have been sold and are being sold now on other places/sites.

I had to do a double take when I saw that Sutten had called the paralympians "wobblies". It seemed like something out of The Onion.

the idiot Kennaugh
Kennaugh is widely disiked as a narcissistic prat.

Re:thefts. I bought several items of very high quality Adidas clothing off EBay. It was brand new in sealed bags, and the sellers had lots of sizes available. I would not be surprised if someone had been pilfering stock.

British Cycling unaware of Shane Sutton Team Sky retainer | road.cc

Further proof of him being a scumbag.

He either lied or lied by omission about staying with SKY and taking payments from them.

And we have a robust part of the forum here dedicated to corrupt old white men if you're interested in further reading. They call it PO or something like that.

his occasional involvement as an adviser to Team Sky has been completely separate from his role with British Cycling.
Yeah, we believe that. His word is all that's needed.

“British Cycling keeps a detailed and exhaustive inventory of all UK Sport-funded equipment – going back over 10 years – and can categorically state that no kit or equipment provided by UK Sport is, or has ever been, given away or sold on for profit, or has even left the National Cycling Centre, in Manchester,” the statement said.

“When kit is issued, riders are informed that it is the property of the Great Britain Cycling Team, is not their personal property and should be returned when they leave the programme or when requested.”

The statement also said that some “non-current, unworn kit” is sometimes sold at swap meets, in order to raise funds for the programme, and that it cannot be held accountable for what those buyers do with the kit.
So they responded about selling the kit online... they say it isn't happening and never has... so.... how do they.... I don't even. It's on ebay right now!!!

Yep, all old white men with power are horrible. Oh, and young black men without jobs. And don't forget the middle aged middle class Mexicans, the worst. 🙄

Well UK Sport has finished their probe into the matter.

Shane Sutton was sure he was just going to get his job back.

Shane Sutton confident of clearing his name | Cyclingnews.com

But that wasn't to be. He was found guilty or whatever you want to call it, but in a very light-hearted sort of way.

The result of Russell's report was announced in October and it said there was evidence that Sutton used "inappropriate and discriminatory language" but, earlier this month, it was revealed that only one of nine charges was upheld against the Australian. This related to his use of the word "*****es".

Neither Sutton nor Varnish are satisfied with this result and now Varnish has started legal proceedings to obtain what British Cycling has claimed are the objective criteria for releasing her, as well as the evidence Russell based her findings on.
It seems as though they're doing their best to tell him to go away quietly but he won't. So now she's suing them and he's trying to get a job in Australia instead of the UK and he has his boy Cookson helping him.

Aside from him and her, the big report is done. The big probe is finished and the report is complete... but you can't read it for another month.

Instead of releasing the report, UK Sport instead gave it to British Cycling so they could prepare for the fallout from it first.

As soon as the CEO saw the report, he resigned. Immediately left.

When this whole thing started he said he was going to leave, but that wasn't supposed to be until April. Once seeing the report he left with the quickness.

Another athlete has decided to come forward:

'Damning' verdict expected from independent review into British Cycling | road.cc

And now British Cycling has just hired some interesting management. Reputation crisis management professionals. I hope their professionals fail, time to be accountable.

Well, well.

Report into British Cycling sexism and bullying allegations delayed until next month | Cyclingnews.com

They managed to get the report delayed and amended.

It is likely that the final report will be redacted in places in order to alleviate the risk of libel action from those implicated or criticised in testimony.
Alleviate the risk of libel action huh?

So you won't step down huh?

Yeah, that's right, I'm not making this up.

This scumbag above, well, you remember the whole scandal with VW and the emissions right? Yeah. Same guy. Get disgraced and forced out of VW... well British Cycling is a perfect fit for your corrupt politics.

Yes he was. He was the CEO of VW America I think. He left in December of 2013 for "personal reasons" and the cars that were in question were from 2009 on. He left before it was discovered, he left when it was in full-blown operation. The EPA was first tipped off in early 2014, right after he left.
