Hi, I've managed to break the carbon lever on my Ultegra 6700. I know you can change the lever and not the whole unit but I am finding them hard to come across without a premium. Can anyone advise if other shifter models can be used as a donor, or what other shifter models I can use that would be compatible with the existings set up?

i.e Can I use Dura ace 7900 or 7800 etc either as a parts or full replacement? I'd ideally like to keep or upgrade rather than downgrade.

Many thanks in advance.

Is it the front or rear shifter?
The 7900 Front isn't compatible but the rear is.
You can use the Shimano compatibility charts to see what you can use.

These are the latest charts. But the 7900 isn't on them.

I got a broken right shifter, 9 spd, it says it's a flightdeck, anyone now the # it is?
It had a 105 RD.
Probably 5500 or 6500.
