when i buy the spokes, should i get get the spokes a little shorter than my calculations? like 2mm shorter?
Are you in between two standard sizes available to you or are you rounding up or down from a decimal that the calculator ended up with?toxanadu said:so im building my first wheelset. i figured out spoke length by numerous online spoke calcs.

If you have no way to thread them, you can only cut off 2 mm, before the thread runs into the shoulder of the spoke on the other inside end of the nipple.danl1 said:Easier to cut 'em than to stretch 'em. Just sayin'.
