I'm watching an EBAY auction on a '09 SL01 orange/white w/ full Rival groupo, no pedals, Alexrims AT400 wheels, a Cateye computer, and some other fit upgrades.

The frame is described as being near perfect, no scratches.

What would you say is a fair price to pay for this bicycle?

I can pick one up new w/ Easton wheels from Competitive Cyclist for $1779, to my door.

I was thinking $900-$1K would be a fair price for this machine.

I bought my SLX w/ full 7800 DuraAce for $1600 shipped off Ebay. It had a scrach on the top tube and alittle road rash on the rear der, but other than that it was a steal. At the time, a 7800 groupo would have ran me $1600. I say set yourself a limit and dont play into the bidding game, if you don't win it I'm pretty sure something better will show up next week on ebay.
