Do the new 10sp Veloce UltraShift levers require the ultra-narrow shifter cables that are used on Campagnolo's 11sp systems? Just curious...

yes

I believe so - all new style shifters use the narrower cable housings across all groups IIRC

The cables are unchanged, but the new low friction housing is 4.1mm. I've had good luck with Shimano 4mm housing and Campy cables.

Yeah, I have Shimano 4mm housing on one of my Campy bikes. No problem.
