I am/was a die hard Campy user who will be making the leap buy the end of the week. I need some of your insight so i can dermind if I will use Red or Force shifters. So for the x-campy users how does SRAM Force and Red Shifting compare to the new Campy Centar (new ergo levers) shifting?

Any help would be helpful.

Totally different,,,, by design.

I am X-Campy. I love the SRAM lever ergo's,, really fits my hand. I love the shifting action and would not go back. But, I am having fits with the front DR. It is a pain to get dialed in. A screw was loose this last time..

All shifts are crisp,, kinda loud, but very exact....

X Campy10 guy. Go with the Red Shifters (you can go force/rival for everything else).

X-Campy 10 speed user now on Red. I miss my Campy. I do love the SRAM levers for shifting for the drops in a sprint since you don't have to reach for the thumb lever but otherwise I miss how soft the shifts were with Campy & the ability to dump gears with the thumb button on Campy.
Both are great systems, if I could I'd go back to Campy.

XCampy and no looking back!!!

Rode Campy for 16 years, switched to Red on my race bike and Rival on my training bike....and never looked back!! I did have the new style Centaur on my training bike for a short time and they suck! The down shifting is so smooth you over shift....under shift....you can't tell now what you have done because Campy took away the nice "click" sound it used to have. But Sram has it and it's even better. Sram is the groupset for racers...no doubt about it!!
