I'm going through this phase where lugged steel frames seem really neat. This one is being sold locally but the owner bought it used and doesn't know anything about it. Any chance anyone here could ID it. There doesn't seem to be any markings, so it may be a custom. Thought someone might recognise the lugs or seat tube joint.

well, it has to be a pretty decent bike, since it has a Cinelli bottom bracket shell, and probably Cinelli lugs for the rest of the frame right?

gonna be tough

the cinelli logo may not help, but its a start. Is the tubing rifled, butted, or multi-shaped? Knowing that its SLX, or SPX, or SL may determine the qualities of the frame. I'm thinking Cinelli if its rifled. Is there any indications of previous paint color? I don't recall ever seeing an old cinelli frameset in black. Usually red, or pearl white. I could easily be way wrong though.
Good luck.

Need better photos

Do the lugs have any cutouts? Closeup of the fork crow and the seat stay caps may be helpful. Any serial numbers anywhere?
