Hello fellow Canucks!

Quick question to those of you who have recently ordered wheels from Neuvation... what were the duties & taxes that you paid when the wheels were delivered? I found a document that outlined duties as 13% or 17% (!) on wheels. I assume that this would be levied on the Cdn. dollar equivalent. Also, I'm unclear as to whether GST or PST would be charged (I'm in Ontario).

Any info would be much appreciated!

$24 was what I had to pay to the Canada Post guy on delivery, not sure what for.

The shipping was $40 for both wheels although their site messes this up on the order (charges you the $25 for regular delivery) but they fix it before charging you.

There should be no Duty on wheels from USA to Canada. I've had 4 sets sent (not from Neuvation) and no Duty was levied.

Taxes were payable (pst, gst) and the $5 post office fee.

Most people call the charges that they pay "duty" when it's not "Duty" (upper case D) that they are paying.
