i'm thinking of getting a set or two. they are generic, but i figure i can buy 4 for the price of 1 arundel or other name brand carbon fiber cage at the same weight.

If you guys are buying, please post a link/pic to which you're getting!

P.S. i have no relation to this ebay seller other than i like carbon fiber.

I have 2 pairs of the

on two different bikes - seem to be holing up ok after 18 months. I wanted something that holds the bottle tight in place so that it does not rattle and I figured that the ones above have the most material wrapping around. They used to be $22 shipped for two.... Don't forget 8% bing cashback.

Bought two pairs of these:

a while back. At the time they were $19.99 delivered from Hong Kong. They arrived in about 4 days in an unmarked box. Inside, they were packaged in a plastic bags with no hardware. They tip the scale at 19g each. At first they were very slippery. Bottle slipped out a couple of times. After a couple thousand miles they no longer slipped. Highly recommend.

ordered a pair of "sideloader" CF cages from ebay for $24 shipped. Took a week to get here from date of order. Arrived well packaged. No customs fees. Problem free transaction.

The pictures speak for themselves:

let me know how securely they hold your polar bottle, esp. over bumps. And how easy is it to get them in/out? Thanks

No specific link. Search for carbon fiber bottle cage and sort by price. Look at the picture to find the design. It is very easy to get bottle in and out if you can steer the bike with one hand. 10x easier than the spec rib cage. Only rode on flat pavement but bottle didn't fall or rattle at all.

The sideloader is an interesting design, but it looks like it would be right hand or left hand specific.
well... yea, haha

i also have 2x LOOK CF cages coming this week. I'm thinking i'll put one of them (LOOK) on my downtube, and the sideloader on my seattube.

The other LOOK cage will go on my gf's Scott Contessa CR1 and she'll have the other sideloader on her seattube, just like mine.

I bought the following from this seller.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170475163792&ssPageName=ADME:L:OU:US:1123

Came with all the hardware. The carbon weave lacked some uniformity in certain areas but, I like how the cage doesn't have a gorilla grip on my bottle, but is still secure enough to not let them fall out.
I have 2 pairs and just ordered another pair.
They held up well to some serious MT biking.
I love them, I can't even count the amount of aluminum ones I have broken over the years.
Crappy welds.
