Hi all,

I am buiding up an ebay special (Coppi KSC) that has an Advanced Concepts fork with a carbon steerer. I am pretty certain this is the same thing as a Profile BRC (alu crown). It did not come with a plug. I picked up a hope plug which I figured would work, but have quickly realized that the carbon is so damn thick in the steerer tube that the inner diameter is way to small for the plug.

While I wonder if this thickness of carbon is really lighter than a alloy tube, my real problem is finding a plug that will fit. Any ideas out there? Should I just ebay this damn fork and get something nice?

all carbon steerers are thick....

Most plugs list the diameter that is appropriate for them. The two scraps I have measure .930 inch (23.6mm) and .945 inch (24mm).
