Im looking to build up a fast wheel set and I found two different styles of carbon weaves on ebay, 3K and 12K, does anybody have any recommendations about which to get? Thanks Ben

The surface layer is mostly a cosmetic difference. And many of the cheap c/f wheelsets are tanks if you do any climbing. If you want light c/f wheels you'll pay a fortune.
