Biking got a little pub today on the front page of the paper. The article was about cargo bikes. There is a conversion kit made by Xtracycle that allows you to carry up to 350 lbs. From what I could tell from the picture it seems like it extends the chainstays to allow extra room for increased rack attatchments.
The article goes on to say there is a coffee bean business here that uses a Mexico-made cargo bike to do all it's local deliveries.
I think I saw one of the Xtracycles the other day on the way home. It looks like a bike that's been stretched about 30% from the seat post on back.
