Unless im missing something thats an older bike. They were nice bikes back in the day, actually still nice bikes today. 260 seems a bit on the high side considering the age, but if its in perfect condition then not unreasonable.
Its a good bike to start with at that price, especially if you need helmet, gloves, etc.
Just check tire rubber for dry rot (cracks in the skin of the tire) and also brake pads may need replaced. Aside from that maybe a good tune up at your local shop.
