question 1: have you ridden all of the bikes you're intereted in? i ask as they don't all fit the same- cannondales typically size bigger than most other brands, especially scott, felt, look and colagno....from VERY recent experience.

so, the gist: a 56cm frame is not the same across the board for every company.

No I haven't, I will be going to the store later this week to be measured & fitted. I was just asked to narrow done the brands that I might be interested in. The store, if they don't have the size or model needed will order in the bike.
