Anyone else bothered that different brands/models of shorts/bibs place their chamois either too forward or too back?

I have a pair of knicker bibs by Giordana that is way too forward, the wide back part doesn't fall where my sit bones are. My new PI elites seemed right when i tried them on but they are the opposite, wide sit bone part seems too far back. Guess it's just trial and error.

Every body is different. So, there's a lot of different shorts out there. As men, we probably wish we were all built a like. . .well at least like (fill in pornstar name here), but unfortunately we're stuck with different builds, placement, and resting sides. So therefore, you must hunt down what fits you.
