I've seen some great deals on a 5 piece groupo of Champy Chorus 11 speed. No crank or breaks. I was thinking that you could use most any 10 speed Crank, am I way off? Anyone trying this?

All cranks work with all drivetrains.

The only thing you should worry about is chainline.

And if you end up not being completely happy with the cranks, more and more 11 speed chainrings are coming available for Campy and other brands of cranks. SRM already has FSA 11 speed rings in stock, and xxcycle in France sells 11 speed Stronglight CT2 rings that will fit 135 or 130bcd cranks.

With Stronglight making them it can't be long till TA and others are.

I've used Campy 10 cranks with no problem, but there really should be not be better deals with or without cranks. Online stores in the UK still have a substantial price advantage over any US source. I've paid less for 11 speed cranks than the same model of 10 speed from '08.
