i have a campy zonda rear wheel from the mid 90's and it has an 8-speed free-hub. i want to switch it over to a modern 10-speed hub so i can use modern gearing with it. the gent who sold it to me said it's as easy as buying a chorus 9-speed freehub and swapping it out. easy as pie.

can anyone confirm this?

Everybody says that "built wheels" can't be changed over like "normal" hubs can, but our shop wrench changed a friend of mine's 8 speed Shamals to a 10 speed cassette body.
