I've got a guy on a set of 36h Chukkers laced to XT hubs that weighs well over 300lbs, I think he was 320lbs at his peak. It's just a commuter so he's not beating on them, but they have held up for over two years with zero issues.

Anybody ever use the 700c Velocity Chukker. I got a build coming up for road disk /Gravel bike. Dude is 6'6, 270lbs. It appears to be the widest, heaviest Non Brake surface rim out there in 36 hole

Check out the Atlas if you need to add 1mm more to the width and keep the same weight if silver finish is fine with the color theme.
The Cliffhanger is another choice; much wider than the Chukker but also heavier.

The Chukkers should be more than adequate. I've also had good luck with the Deep V (36h). I know they're not as wide, but it's been a few years and they haven't needed so much as a tweak from a spoke wrench.
