I have an old Vitus aluminum frame that I stripped down to the bare metal and then polished it to a mirror like finish. I would like to clear coat it. I tried this a few years ago but the clear coating yellowed bad. It did stick really well as it was quite a job to remove it. Anyone have any thoughts on what type to use?

I would look for the non-yellowing variety. Sorry couldn't resist. I am also looking to clearcoat over some new decals on a bare titanium frame, so I will be watching this post as well.

Go to the nearest Auto Tuner shop, ask them where to get custom paint jobs. They'll be more than happy to point you in the right direction. Call the Paint shop, ask them what kind of paint they use. More than likely it's PPG. Ask where they get their paint, call them. They'll know.

Alternately, find your local paint jobber. Ask them what to do, they'll help you out.
