I am having a problem with my colnago seatpost slipping down on my c50 HM. Anything I can do?

The C50 uses a 28.0 mm seat post. That's an uncommon size. Are you using the right size? If your seat post diameter is too small, that could explain the slipping -- and if that's the case I think there are spacer sleeves you can buy to take care of the problem.

If you have the correct size, (either 28.0 or 27.2 with a shim) you might find that some cheap pump hair spray will solve your problem. I use it on all my CF bikes, including my C50 (with a 27.2 post and a shim). It works, try it.

WTB: carbon Colnago seatpost 28.0mm for a 2003 C40

The top "cap" that holds saddle rails to post cracked...

I know there are plenty of alternatives, but I want to stay with original parts (plus, the stamped logo on the post is awesome IMHO).
