Springs rides

This weekend there's the Niwot Crit on Sunday up in Boulder and the State TT champs near Denver on Saturday. In the Springs there are two group rides on the weekend, both meet at 10am at the Starbucks at Tejon and Bijou. Sat is a fast 55 mile ride south to Fountain (flat) and Sunday is a 40 mile loop up to the Academy and Woodmen (lots of climbing at pace).

Thursday night has the Table Mountain Crit series in Golden (about an hour to hour and a half drive out of the Springs). Its a nice series on a closed loop. It is the facility where the Colorado State Police practice their driving skills.

Keep in mind that Colorado has a different licensing authority than USAC. You'll need to purchase a 1-day license.

If you have the right qualifications (Cat 3 or above) there's the Thursday night racing at the USOC Velodrome.
