I've been riding my hardtail w/ slicks on the road and dreaming of a real road bike, mainly to do training miles for mtn bike racing. I ride a Gary Fisher Sugar which is really compact and it already feels like i'm going over the handle bars when I've ridden my hardtail alot and then switch back to the sugar. Could someone recommend some compact road frames that wouldnt stretch me out so much that my mtn bike feels like a unicycle. I really like the looks and name of the specialized roubaix but I havnt given any true road bikes a go yet.
