I've had lots of dealings with CC and always found them above board. Are they saying its out of stock, or just flat won't honor the price they posted?

Been up for weeks! I guest the IT is out on vacation without anyone covering for him.All Internet dealers have a little asterix in their site, that says that they will not honor pricing mistakes on their part. Maybe it's still on their web page because the IT guy went home sick..

They don't need the asterisk -- it's not an offer for sale until they agree to take your money for the good promised. That's general contract law in the US...originally designed to protect retailers from suffering due to printed mistakes, but applies equally to website mistakes...I searched all over the site and found no asterix, not even an asterisk. Now if you add the item to your cart, check out, and they bill your credit card, than they should likely honor the sale...but this is just getting goofy
My experience with CC has always been terrific. I've also called them when finding better deals on other websites and they will generally price match. I've never had an issue and am unlikely to shop elsewhere (except my LBS)
