Is it possible to rebuild my 2009 Zipp 404 with a new dura ace 11 speed hub (which I can find listed all over the place) or a new Zipp 188 (V8) (which I cannot find anywhere for sale online). Both hubs have the required 24 holes.

I was thinking of buying a new set of race wheels but .... why ...... it seems to me this rebuild approach should work.

As I have never rebuilt a carbon rim ... should I worry about the wheel being older and therefore has been through a lot of stresses!?! The wheel in question does need to be trued every so often to keep it in perfect form .. but not sure if thats only the spokes causing that or is the rims age a factor??

Thanks for any thoughts and ideas you might throw my way.

Cheers, Matt
