Hello all. I have a SRAM GXP S350 crankset with a BB86.5 on my Madone 3.1. I believe it is pressfit bb. I would like to install an Ultegra 6700 crankset. My question, is the 6700 crankset compatible? If so, do I need to change the bb or install any adapters? Please let me know if I need to provide more information. Thanks.

You will need a different BB. GXP and Hollowtech II have different sized NDS bearings.

This is the BB you need if you're going to swap to Ultegra.

Or you could go to a SRAM GXP Rival/Force/Red crankset instead of Ultegra and keep your BB.

I just saw a SRAM Force crankset (noncompact) with GPX for $135 from Backcountry. Pretty hard to beat that deal and no need to swap the BB.

Thanks for the replies. I like the idea of the Force crankset and it sounds much simpler to change. I want to change from a compact 50/34 to a standard double 53/39. Will I need to swap chains?
