An hour @ 30-35mph, who are you, Peter Sagan?
Those rides I was talking about.. .... Peter would be going 45-50mph. I said they were downhill, and yes i have done them. Do you see my picture, I'm on one, kinda sweaty going up!

... and Nova, you said "We know where the OP is riding". ... and now "We" don't?

Ok, let's try this again. Where? "Mostly it will be used on the road (sometimes gravel) "

No idea on feet climbed or annual mileage, irrelevant info.

I would consider that the amount of elevation that you will encounter on a ride would be highly relevant information on the selection of gearing. Regardless of road, gravel, trail, or path.
Of course you probably have an electric bike? That's probably irrelevant too?

Of course, but not in this case when there's only a two teeth difference between OP's choices.
