My 2007 S-Works Tarmac SL frame has a gouge in it's downtube - you can get splintered by a piece of carbon if you rub your fingers by it quickly. Anyway, my question is...what does Specialized due for crash replacements to original owners (I still have the receipt!)? Free new frame (wishful thinking, but I doubt it!), dealer cost, 50% off retail for new frame, or 'other'?

Maybe it's time to upgrade (if possible) to the S-Works SL2?!

Thanks,

you get a discount, but it's not 50%. crash replacement for Specialized is nothing too crazy. hell, even if you don't ride a Speccy, they'll hook you up with a crash replacement just to get you on one. And no receipt is required for crash replacement.
