I run a campmano system and might I add it gives you the best of both worlds IMHO.

The light shifters of campy with their neat cabling and thumbshifter
The inexpensive and light cassettes and der of shimano along with their hubs.

Funny... I was gonna ask the same thing...

Funny... I was gonna ask the same thing about the bar. It looked comfortable... I should know, I have the same bar on my main ride. It's really nice under my hands. I've been looking for a similar flat top bar for my beater, maybe i'll just look for another bontrager flat top.

Nice bike. That paint is super sweet. Is that a glossy black or are there some cherry tones in there?

Simple gloss black, powder coated by Sycip.

Though I've got a feeling the clear coat will be scratched up in no time given my track record. This bike is going to be a workhorse. Ridden on rough roads, gravel, trainer, wet weather.

Call it a mountain biker's road bike. Did 3.5 hours on it the other day. Primo.
