Hey gang,

Been lusting after Colnagos lately, but did anyone else notice Pierrick Fedrigo riding on a CX-1 in Stage 16? I also noticed this on one of the ealrier stages when he was off on the break.

Interesting is all, other than perhaps why he might choose this mount over a EPS, or C59 if offered.

Notch one up for all you CX-1 lovers out there. Definitely building the bloodline of this frame.

Maybe some riders (like sprinters), prefer a monocoque frame. There are also other reasons, like comfort. In this year's Paris Roublaix, a couple of Caisse D-Epargne riders were riding on the old Pinarello Paris Carbon frames, rather than using 2010 Dogma or Prince frames, which have a reputation for a harsh ride.
